Responsibilities
Lead automobile liability and general liability defense matters from pleadings through trial
Conduct and defend depositions, draft and argue substantive motions, and oversee all stages of discovery
Handle insurance coverage issues, including coverage opinions and declaratory judgment actions
Collaborate with partners, adjusters, and experts to drive litigation strategy and efficient resolution
Qualification
Required
6–10+ years of insurance defense litigation experience
Strong background in automobile defense (required)
Experience with insurance coverage matters or willingness to expand into coverage work
Strong deposition, motion practice, negotiation, and courtroom skills
NY Bar required
Organized, proactive, and comfortable running files independently in a fast-moving boutique environment
