Temporary Marketing Director

The Temporary Marketing Director will be responsible for the strategy and execution of client-facing and brand-building events, developing integrated marketing frameworks, and managing relationships with retail and wholesale partners.

Responsibilities

Own the strategy and execution of client-facing and brand-building events across markets
Develop integrated marketing and experiential frameworks aligned to commercial and brand objectives
Serve as relationship lead for ~10 retail and wholesale partners, overseeing Lease Required Advertising (LRA) and Coop Advertising campaigns
Act as senior decision-maker in partnership with the Head of Marketing & HQ for creative direction, production, agencies, and luxury vendor partnerships
Build and optimize regional relationship networks, including hospitality partners, VIPs, stylists, and wedding planners
Serve as the primary liaison between Marketing, Retail teams, and HQ marketing resources
Partner cross-functionally with Global Marketing, Creative, Press, Merchandising, Made to Measure, and Clienteling teams
Support HQ-led global initiatives, including fashion shows, client travel, and key brand moments
Oversee budgets, forecasting, and performance measurement, ensuring ROI and cost efficiency
Provide executive-level on-site leadership and oversight of contractors and partners
Ensure compliance with ZEGNA’s Internal Control Framework (ICFR)

5+ years of proven experience in retail luxury marketing and brand management
Experience in event execution
