Tecovas is the first direct-to-consumer western brand, focused on creating high-quality western boots and apparel. They are seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Intern to assist with day-to-day FP&A tasks and gain insights into corporate finance operations.

Responsibilities

Assist the team with running day-to-day FP&A tasks, including variance analysis to Plan and updating forecasts for current trends
Support reporting on financial results to business partners across the corporate, retail, and wholesale channels
Assist in creating analysis supporting omni-channel marketplace strategy
Explore and utilize AI for creating forecasts
Contribute to the creation of a finance GPT to help answer budget and finance questions

Required

Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Math, Accounting, Statistics, or a related field
A solid understanding of the three-statement financial model
Strong Excel skills
An interest in emerging technologies, including the application of AI in finance and zero-based budgeting
Must be located in the Austin, TX area
Must be available to work up to 32 hours per week, Monday - Friday (between the hours of 8AM-5PM CST)
Must be at least 18 years of age or older
Must have reliable transportation
Able to lift up to 30 pounds regularly
Internship program culminates with a presentation to our leadership team summarizing your experience at Tecovas with key takeaways and feedback regarding the program
