Communications Manager

Responsibilities

Develop ideas and concepts for publication
Write articles and newsletters, produce graphics and fact sheets; manage web pages
Direct promotional events and special projects
Attend workshops, events, lectures, etc. relating to the communications field
Assist with promotion of fundraising efforts, as required
Manage the communications budget, as needed
Perform other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Five to seven years of job related experience

Preferred

Outstanding written communication and editorial skills, with a body of work that reflects adaptability across audiences and formats
Proficiency with creative and marketing tools, including Adobe Creative Suite, Canva Pro, email marketing systems (Constant Contact, Emma, MailChimp, etc.), social media platforms, and CRM software
Demonstrated experience producing high-quality visual and digital content, including graphic design and photography (portfolio will be requested)
Ability to think strategically while also executing day-to-day deliverables independently
Proven ability to manage projects efficiently and juggle multiple priorities and timelines
A team-oriented, self-motivated approach with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, highly collaborative workplace
