Responsibilities
Own component placement optimization and full PCB layout in Altium
Execute layout for power, control, and communication circuits
Route high-speed and power-sensitive signals following best practices
Handle Ethernet routing (10Mbps single-pair Ethernet / 10BASE-T1L)
Perform LGA/BGA fanout and dense component routing
Ensure power integrity across 48V input, buck converters, and LDO rails
Apply UL and functional safety standards
Ensure proper creepage and clearance for high-voltage spacing
Prepare design for manufacturability and fab release
Qualification
Required
5+ years of relevant PCB layout experience
Strong hands-on experience with Altium
Power electronics and control board layout experience
Experience with high speeds (10Gb) and high voltage
High-speed signal routing experience (Ethernet, CAN, SPI, etc.)
Experience with LGA/BGA packages and dense layouts
Ability to work independently and hit tight schedules
Preferred
Battery systems or energy storage hardware experience
Familiarity with 'functional safety' in battery environments
Cadence / Allegro background
Exposure to hardware security considerations
