Responsibilities

Drive sales of DFS telemetry/SCADA solutions across municipal and industrial markets
Identify and convert new business opportunities; manage the full sales cycle
Build strong relationships with utilities, public works, engineering firms, and industrial clients
Support customer onboarding, training, and long-term engagement
Collaborate with channel partners, including Badger Meter and SmartCover, in a team-selling environment
Represent DFS at regional trade shows and industry events
Maintain accurate CRM records (Salesforce) and provide territory updates

Required

Candidates must reside within the territory
Drive sales of DFS telemetry/SCADA solutions across municipal and industrial markets
Identify and convert new business opportunities; manage the full sales cycle
Build strong relationships with utilities, public works, engineering firms, and industrial clients
Support customer onboarding, training, and long-term engagement
Collaborate with channel partners, including Badger Meter and SmartCover, in a team-selling environment
Represent DFS at regional trade shows and industry events
Maintain accurate CRM records (Salesforce) and provide territory updates
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
Prior experience in water/wastewater SCADA or telemetry
Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM
3+ years in account management or territory sales, preferably in municipal or utility markets

Preferred

Familiarity with monitoring and operational control applications (not just data visibility)
Experience working within the water/wastewater ecosystem—utilities, operators, engineers, contractors
Existing relationships with Texas municipal utilities, especially those serving populations under ~150,000
Working understanding of SCADA architecture (software, hardware, radio, cellular)
Knowledge of Texas utility purchasing, including grants, SRF, capital planning, and procurement cycles
Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
Experience with water, wastewater, or smart water technology preferred
