Responsibilities
Respond to interior and exterior guest calls for service in a timely manner. Make repairs and/or provide service in order to achieve complete guest satisfaction
Greet all guests and fellow Team Members as you see them. Speak politely and assist them as needed, making sure to answer all questions and providing appropriate directions. Respond in a courteous manner to all questions, complaints, and/or requests to ensure complete satisfaction
Inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all facilities and property of the resort including but not limited to: Guest accommodations, buildings, machinery, equipment, grounds, roadways, signage, flooring, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, electronics, painting, drywall, HVAC, refrigeration, kitchen equipment and masonry
Operate with the property maintenance software program and properly updates essential information via the use of a smart device
Perform preventive maintenance as needed on all items listed above and keep accurate records
Complete maintenance and facilities tasks from work orders and/or electronic devices
Read and understand blueprints and schematic drawings
Maintain a clean, safe, and hazard free work environment
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and inventory of tools, supplies and equipment
Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures
Effectively communicate the status of projects and/or other duties verbally and in writing
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school graduate or equivalent education is required
2+ years of resort maintenance experience
Valid Florida Driver's License with acceptable driving record
Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
Attention to detail
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Capable of performing role in a busy work environment
Capable of working scheduled hours, including weekdays, weekends, nights, and holidays
Proficient in the use of electronic devices and their applications such as cell phones and/or tablets
Able to stand, walk, crawl, stoop, kneel, bend, and / or reach repeatedly
Able to safely lift 75 pounds and carry, pull, and push heavy objects and materials
Able to climb and work on ladders and scaffolding
Able to be on feet and moving around for entire shift
Able to perform all duties listed in this job description
