Responsibilities
Lead and support daily logistics operations, overseeing a team of logistics specialists and CDL drivers
Assist with equipment management, inbound, cross-dock, and outbound logistics processes
Recruit, train, and coach CDL drivers and logistics office staff to ensure high performance
Maintain compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations and all safety standards
Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules and coordinate fleet operations to ensure safety and reliability
Work closely with internal departments, vendors, and customers to guarantee timely delivery of goods
Resolve transportation-related issues, disputes, and delivery challenges
Track and improve on-time delivery metrics month over month
Optimize lane operations and backhaul opportunities to support revenue goals
Assist with budget management and cost improvement initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field, or equivalent experience
2+ years of experience in transportation management or logistics
Experience managing CDL drivers and coordinating logistics teams
Proficiency with transportation management systems and logistics technology
Strong knowledge of DOT/FMCSA compliance and transportation regulations
CDL required
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
