Responsibilities
Assist in pitching research to reporters and other stakeholders
Drafting products - including op-eds, press releases, and other materials for media consumption to drive coverage and lead rapid response/bracketing efforts
Working with partners and allies on earned media efforts; and
Participating in regular strategy sessions on overall message development as well as press plans for the week/day ahead
Qualification
Required
Self-motivation and the ability to work independently and exercise discretion and independent judgment
Have experience working closely with opposition researchers to pitch stories
Have a firm grasp of today's traditional and social media environments
Have a great sense of humor and creativity
Work well under pressure and on deadline
Preferred
Campaign or Hill experience is strongly preferred
