Associate Director of Brand Marketing
HXM Studios is a story-driven production company focused on creating documentary-style content that reinforces individual values. They are seeking an Associate Director of Brand Marketing to lead their brand voice and content strategy, aimed at building a strong brand identity and attracting aligned clients.

Responsibilities
Own and evolve HXM Studios’ brand voice and positioning
Take HXM’s internal brand content from concept through production and posting
Build a strong, differentiated brand identity that directly supports client acquisition
Maintain consistent output and ensure everything reflects what we stand for and who we want to attract
Lead with confidence and sound judgment. Back creative decisions with clear reasoning, data, and business impact
Work closely with the founders and clearly present ideas backed by strategy
Decide what gets made and what doesn’t, guided by the company’s long-term mission
Focus on clarity that converts, not volume for the sake of posting
Use brand content intentionally to attract the right clients
Occasionally support select client projects by shaping story or creative direction when it supports growth
Qualification
Required
5–8+ years of experience in brand marketing, content strategy, editorial, or a closely related role with real ownership and outcomes
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field
Proven experience leading brand or content initiatives end to end
Hands-on experience working within real content production workflows
Experience managing content from concept through production and delivery, with a clear understanding of timelines and tradeoffs
Comfortable presenting ideas to founders or executives with authority
Ability to back creative decisions with performance data and business rationale
Strong understanding of how brand, content, and positioning influence client acquisition
Experience defining success metrics and refining strategy based on results
Excellent writing skills and strong editorial judgment
Ability to make firm decisions about priorities and direction
Comfortable working independently and owning outcomes
Preferred
Shooting and or editing experience is a plus, not a requirement
