Sales Account Manager – Utility
FIMER is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of renewable energy solutions, specializing in solar inverter production. They are seeking a Sales Account Manager to execute sales activities across new utility-scale inverter installations and repowering opportunities while managing customer relationships and driving sales processes.

Responsibilities
Manage assigned utility customers and accounts across:
New inverter sales for greenfield projects
Repowering and inverter replacement opportunities
Develop and execute account plans aligned with customer pipelines and asset portfolios
Maintain strong commercial and technical working relationships with customers
Own the full sales cycle for assigned opportunities, from qualification through contract close
Work with Fimer Sales Ops to develop proposals, pricing inputs, and technicalandcommercial collateral
Maintain accurate opportunity tracking, pipeline, and forecasts in CRM systems
Work with internal stakeholders to review contract documents for technical and commercial viability and accuracy
Identify repowering opportunities driven by:
End-of-life equipment
Performance or reliability challenges
Partner with Fimer Service team to leverage installed base insights and customer data
Serve as the primary customer interface for assigned accounts
Participate in customer meetings, site visits, and technical-commercial discussions
Escalate complex opportunities or issues to the Director of Sales, or Country Manager as needed
Work with Engineering to address site-specific technical requirements
Coordinate with Service and Operations to ensure sales commitments align with execution capability
Provide customer and market feedback to Product Management
Operate independently with limited structure and evolving processes
Take initiative to improve documentation, sales tools, and engagement models
Adapt quickly to changing priorities and market conditions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
5+ years of sales experience in utility-scale solar or power electronics
Experience managing long-cycle capital equipment sales
Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills
CRM experience (Salesforce, Zoho or similar)
Experience operating in growth-stage or transitioning organizations
Preferred
Exposure to repowering or retrofit projects strongly preferred
