Customer Service Specialist

Responsibilities

Verify, compile, and reconcile data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and compliance with program requirements
Prepare, review, and distribute reports and summaries for internal and external stakeholders
Maintain and update records in electronic and paper formats, ensuring proper organization and accessibility
Research and analyze information to support decision-making and resolve discrepancies
Process claims, applications, or related documents in accordance with established policies and procedures
Utilize office technology and software systems to manage data entry, reporting, and workflow tasks
Coordinate information exchange between internal teams and external partners to support program operations
Monitor and track program activities, identifying issues and recommending solutions to improve efficiency
Provide clear and accurate communication to staff, clients, and stakeholders through written and verbal channels
Support personnel administration tasks, including scheduling, documentation, and compliance with organizational standards

Required

High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and two years of related administrative experience
An equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred

Demonstrated experience compiling, reconciling, and analyzing data using spreadsheet and database tools to ensure accuracy and support program reporting
Proficient in preparing and formatting reports and summaries for internal and external stakeholders, applying advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications to meet organizational standards
Experienced in maintaining and organizing electronic and paper records, ensuring compliance with retention policies and accessibility requirements
Skilled in researching and resolving discrepancies in program documentation and transactions, applying established procedures to deliver timely and accurate solutions
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to convey technical and procedural information clearly and collaborate effectively with diverse teams
