Responsibilities
Provides technical leadership, services, and support for the following areas:
Acts as the final escalation point for complex technical issues within areas of responsibility
Leads infrastructure, architecture and design initiatives
Performs and oversees network assessments, security audits, and client consultations
Leads administration and maintenance of the remote monitoring and management system: updates agent scripts, responds to critical alerts, monitors dashboards, and conducts periodic system reviews
Partners with business stakeholders and/or clients to design and engineer solutions; evaluates, researches, and recommends new technologies, products, and services
Leads and oversees the implementation of project solutions for the business and/or clients
Establishes and maintains technical standards, documentation, and best practices
Becomes deeply knowledgeable in business-critical applications to ensure ongoing support and optimization
Ensures maintenance activities are properly performed and documented for all systems and network solutions
Mentors, coaches, and provides technical guidance to engineers and other team members
Maintains a strong customer-focused approach for internal and external clients
Operates with a strong sense of ownership and urgency
Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Math, or Physical Science
Minimum 10+ years' experience in systems engineering or a related technical role
Demonstrated experience leading complex system engineering, analytical, and problem-solving initiatives
Proven experience authoring and maintaining technical and architectural documentation
Experience leading technical discussions and participating in meetings with internal stakeholders
Experience with Service Desk ticketing systems and escalation management
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and microservices architecture
Strong knowledge of software engineering principles, design patterns, and data structures
Proficiency with version control tools (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and optimization techniques
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
Excellent communication skills to effectively work with technical and non-technical stakeholders
