New Grad, Entry LevelTranscendia, Inc. is a manufacturing company seeking a Quality Inspector for the D Shift. The Quality Inspector is responsible for reviewing products and materials during manufacturing to ensure they meet quality requirements and maintain inspection reports.
Manufacturing
Responsibilities
Approving or rejecting material with respect to quality standard
Discuss production results with the production team
Maintain inspection reports
Uphold company safety measures
Generate certificate of conformance or certificate of analysis
Ensure test equipment is calibrated and working correctly
Verify that production adheres to quality standards and procedures, by pulling samples to test using the appropriate methods and tools
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum of a High school diploma
Ability to work alone with minimal supervision
Must have organizational skills with an ability to prioritize and multi-task
Strong analytical and communication skills
Ability to interact in a professional manner with employees
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Working understanding of Excel and Word
Preferred
Would prefer a degree related to quality or manufacturing
