Responsibilities
Operate and maintain optical manufacturing equipment, including lens cutting, grinding, and polishing machines
Assemble and fit lenses into frames according to customer orders
Inspect finished lenses for defects and ensure they meet prescribed optical and physical specifications
Perform final checks on eyewear for alignment, fit, and finish
Ensure lab area and equipment is clean, calibrated, and in good working order
Follow all safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe working environment
Qualification
Required
Previous experience in an optical lab is required
Proficient with computer software related to optical lab operations
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Good communication skills and team-oriented mindset
