Responsibilities
Drive innovation in test engineering by developing comprehensive test strategies in collaboration with design teams, ensuring robust coverage and product reliability
Design and develop advanced Automated Test Equipment (ATE) hardware, including load boards, probe cards, and interfaces, to support New Product Introduction (NPI) and accelerate time-to-market
Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle from initial design and prototyping through high-volume manufacturing and sustaining/RMA support
Optimize yield and efficiency by improving test throughput, reducing test time, and scaling multi-site testing for cost-effective production
Communicate and align effectively across cross-functional teams, external customers, and suppliers to ensure quality and performance targets are met
Qualification
Required
B.S./M.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience with 7+ years in semiconductor test or ATE hardware engineering
Experience with Advantest V93k or equivalent automated test systems
Strong knowledge of test coverage and design-for-test methodologies (Scan/ATPG/JTAG/BIST)
Experience collaborating with local and offshore OSATs and manufacturing partners
Proficiency with tools and workflows including Smartest, Redhat, and version control systems (GIT/SVN)
Ability to independently problem-solve and learn new technologies
Effective communicator with a collaborative mindset, comfortable working across functional and organizational boundaries
Preferred
Experience with DDR and high-speed digital products
