Communications Manager
EverTrue is seeking a Communications Manager responsible for creating strategic communication plans and content across various channels. This role involves managing internal and external communications, social media, and brand storytelling to align stakeholders with the organization's priorities.
Responsibilities
Develops communication plans and campaigns on behalf of various initiatives utilizing current and future communication channels and tools
Creates timelines, identifies key messages, writes corresponding copy that meets audience needs, and proposes communication delivery methods
Monitors the success of communication plans, communicating results and reporting as needed
Oversees internal and external communication channels, including all social media sites, websites, digital, and email communication
Is the lead strategic social media manager, responsible for content creation, audience engagement, brand storytelling and performance analytics to grow the EverTrue online presence and drive business impact
Develops and executes strategy using data-driven social media storytelling that aligns with brand goals and business objects
Designs, writes and curates engaging content (text, images, video and graphics) tailored to platform and audience
Oversees platform management for corporate and community social media channels through scheduling, posting and engagement
Creates robust social media training for editors in the communities to align them to brand standards and best practices
Is a lead content creator, maintaining accurate and precise grammar in the voice of requesters and the organization
Partners with EverTrue team members to provide compelling copy and visuals for digital and print pieces, which include but are not limited to internal channels, social media channels, stories, SEO articles, website copy, etc
Writes press releases, news articles, and organization stories
Interviews residents, family members, and team members as needed
Monitors brand reputation and review solicitation for the overarching organization as well as individual communities and service lines
Crafts responses and triages responses as needed
Provides reporting and support for communities in garnering reviews
Supports Communication Specialist, including task review, co-writing, strategy development and editing
Qualification
Required
Seven (7) years of prior, relevant experience including experience in social media management, content creation or digital marketing
Bachelor's Degree
Demonstrated proficiency in content writing and writing for different audiences (Writing samples required upon request.)
Proficient in social media scheduling tools such as Hootsuite/Meta and in social media content tools such as Canva and Adobe
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite with MAC and PC environments
Acute sense of judgment, tact, and diplomacy
Strong sense of teamwork, interpersonal skills, and a strong willingness to help in any area and learn new things, even if they are outside the proverbial 'box'
Excellent problem-solving abilities and the ability to both manage and execute projects
Must be adaptable, motivated, and dependable
