Oracle Functional Financial Specialist (P2P)
The Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) is focused on enhancing fiscal stability and accountability for the Government of the District of Columbia. They are seeking an Oracle Functional Financial Specialist to work on the design, modification, and support of applications related to financial systems, particularly involving Oracle ERP and EPM Cloud modules.
Responsibilities
Gather and analyze business requirements and translating requirements into applications
Configure, test, and implement modifications to Oracle ERP or EPM Cloud Modules such as Account Receivables, Payables, General Ledger, Purchasing, Projects, Grants, Cash Management, and budget modules
Troubleshoot and work with vendors to resolve issues with product functionality
Working with security staff to document and implement processes and procedures to ensure compliance with District, OCIO, and IRS security controls
Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Five (5) years of progressive experience performing duties and responsibilities such as gathering and analyzing business requirements and providing technical solutions
Conducting configurations, testing, and troubleshooting financial systems or Oracle Financials modules (i.e., Accounts Payable, Receivables, Purchasing, General Ledger, Projects, Grants, Budget, etc.)
Knowledge of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Oracle ERP/EPM Cloud experience
Public sector particularly state and local government experience
