Responsibilities
Perform HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and minor carpentry tasks
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders for maintenance and service
Execute assigned repairs, emergency, and preventive maintenance
Maintain and repair carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, including faucets, toilets, air compressors, and lighting systems
Conduct repairs on flooring, tiling, and countertops, and manage exterior projects like fencing and painting
Perform light cleaning tasks and monitor shop tools
Respond promptly to emergency situations and attend training classes
Understand and follow regulations regarding hazardous waste disposal and ensure EPA compliance
Collaborate with all departments and notify management of major repair needs
Stay updated on new equipment and tools, recommending purchases when necessary
Move heavy furniture or equipment manually or with hand trucks
Qualification
Required
Comprehensive understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical work, minor carpentry, and more
At least one year of basic experience in plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry
Commercial or industrial facilities experience
Facilities maintenance
Mechanical maintenance
Building maintenance
Carpentry
Preferred
Certifications or an associate degree are a plus
Any HVAC certification is a significant advantage
