Responsibilities

Manage Visitor Experience: At the front desk, you’ll be the first Abridger any visitor sees! You’ll create a welcoming and seamless experience for guests, candidates, and vendors. This includes managing check-ins, badging, and visitor communications with professionalism and warmth. Reception and entry areas will stay organized and polished under your care, ensuring they’re always ready for a busy day
Ensure smooth daily Workplace Operations: Being a physical presence at the reception desk, day-to-day visitor flow falls under your ownership, in addition to helping our Workplace Manager maintain shared spaces and supplies, to managing mail, deliveries, and equipment readiness. You proactively spot operational gaps or facility issues and coordinate with our Workplace Manager, building partners or vendors to resolve them quickly. By keeping the office running reliably in the background, employees can stay focused on their highest-impact work
Enable Office Events & Culture: Supporting onsite events—team meetings, celebrations, and cultural moments—will be a key part of this role. You’ll handle logistics such as catering, room setups, and vendor coordination to ensure every gathering runs smoothly. These efforts help create an engaging, connected workplace that reflects the culture we’re building

Required

2+ years of experience in reception, workplace/office coordination, or administrative support roles, with proven success in dynamic environments
Experience in high-growth or early-stage startup environments, where responsiveness, flexibility and adaptability are essential
Clear, concise, and confident in verbal and written communication, with an ability to establish and build trust in relationships across all levels of the company
Demonstrate the highest levels of integrity, trustworthiness, and discretion in handling sensitive information, maintaining confidentiality, and exercising sound judgment in all interactions and decision-making
A knack for identifying gaps, anticipating needs, and taking initiative to improve efficiency and solve problems before they arise
Familiarity with Google Workspace and Slack and a desire to adopt new tools that streamline business operations and administration

Preferred

Experience with productivity tools such as Envoy, Notion and Ramp
Knowledge of HIPAA, privacy regulation, and compliance standards, or a willingness to learn
