Responsibilities

Support installation, maintenance, repair, and upgrade of computer and network equipment
Support Windows and Linux based platforms, applications and users
Review and test new hardware and software applications and make recommendations for purchases
Help design and implement configuration management and monitor systems and networks
Assist in configuration of network devices such as routers and switches
Provide technical support for staff and back-end system users
Manage user access through Microsoft Active Directory group policy
Collaborate with other personnel throughout the organization to enhance technology and support practices

Required

BS and 6+ years of experience in Windows Systems Administration or equivalent
Excellent knowledge of Windows operating system: configuration, installation, monitoring, and troubleshooting
Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory
Experience working in a classified computing environment
Experience installing, configuring and operating network services such as DNS, DHCP, NIS, NFS, SSH, SAMBA, AD
Technical experience securing networks and systems utilizing DISA STIGs
Conduct network, system, and application vulnerability scanning, configuration assessment, and remediation
Familiarity with Linux operating system
Understanding of RMF policies and DoD Directive 8570
Possess a DoD 8570.01-M IAM I baseline certification or be able to obtain one within 6 months of hire
Excellent customer service skills and communication skills
