The Systems Engineer Intern will participate in the LEAP Internship & Co-op Program, working alongside experienced professionals to support the US Navy's Strategic Systems Programs and ensuring proper coordination of weapon system interface requirements.

Responsibilities
Performing technical change evaluations
Interfacing with government and contractor activities to define Weapons System Coordinated Interfaces
Supporting interface workshops with government and contractor participants, including the capture and production of workshop minutes
Qualification
Required
Enrolled student at an accredited 4-year college / university having completed a minimum of two years (Sophomore) by start of internship
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or another engineering-related major
Understanding of basic engineering principles
Excellent oral and written communication skills, especially presentation skills with the customer as audience
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others as a team player and collaborator across interdisciplinary teams
Demonstrated self-starter with organizational, planning, and follow-up skills
Effective time management skills
Proficiency with PCs and in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Preferred
Experience with Creo Parametric, DOORS, MATLAB, and/or MagicDraw
