Responsibilities
Supervise all Township departments, commissions, authorities, and offices established under the Home Rule Charter
Oversee all municipal functions including public works, engineering, zoning, police, planning, budget/finance, HR, and administrative services
Manage hiring, appointments, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and personnel transitions
Represent the Township in dealings with other governmental entities and negotiate intergovernmental agreements
Serve as Township spokesperson, coordinate communications with the public and media
Maintain the fiscal integrity of the Township through sound financial practices
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in public administration, business, or engineering and at least 5 years of substantial public-sector administrative experience; OR
Bachelor's degree in the same fields and 8 years of progressively responsible administrative or executive experience
Effective communication, budgeting, planning, leadership, problem-solving, and local government operational skills
Excellent judgment, confidentiality, and ability to collaborate effectively with elected officials, staff, and the public
