Responsibilities

Performs basic and routine facilities maintenance, construction, and repair tasks according to service, quality, and safety standards

Following standard operating procedures, installs, inspects, repairs, and performs preventative maintenance

Assists with miscellaneous facility projects, including painting, drywall, installation of fixtures, and moving materials within the facility

Utilize a work order system to log activities as required in a timely manner

Required

General understanding of building trades, including basic electric, plumbing, and painting experience

Proficiency in the use of tools and equipment used in various building construction and maintenance trades

Basic computer skills related to data entry, retrieval, and record-keeping

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, specifications, and manuals

Knowledge of occupational hazards and standard safety practices

High school diploma or equivalent required

Possession of a current valid California Class C driver's license and dependable transportation

Preferred

Experience with building management systems (BMS) software for creating, performing, and maintaining work orders is a plus
