Medical Assistant
Strive Health is dedicated to transforming the kidney care system through comprehensive coordinated care. The Medical Assistant will support quality patient care by performing administrative and clinical tasks, including patient visits and documentation, primarily through telecommunication with some onsite responsibilities.

Responsibilities
Executes on the measurement, collection, and recording of vital signs, phlebotomy, etc
Supports functions including answering telephone calls, retrieving medical records from external sources, completing patient intakes, and appointment scheduling
Enters documentation in the patient’s medical record by inputting medications, labs, patient demographics and history, screening data, care documentation, and pharmacy information
Ensures patient consent is in place, obtains consent if not already completed
Supports Nurse Practitioners for visits, follow up tasks including patient outreach, educational materials, DME etc
Serves patients and performs patient visits in multiple care settings as defined by role including patient home, clinics, partner MD space, and via telehealth/virtual visits
Collaborates with cross-functional partners to ensure the delivery of holistic patient care
Provides in-person patient care which may include standing, sitting, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting
Qualification
Required
2+ years combined of related education, experience, or certification
Graduate from a medical assistant program such as Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) Medical Assistant Program, OR Graduate of a formal medical assistant program
Current BLS or CPR Certification required
Efficient and reliable transportation, including an active driver's license, allowing for the ability to travel across an assigned region to meet patient needs. Locations may include offices, clinics, and patient homes
Internet Connectivity - Min Speeds: 3.8Mbps/3.0Mbps (up/down): Latency <60 ms
Preferred
Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification
Highly collaborative, with experience working on multidisciplinary teams
Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills
Intermediate proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and problem solve
