Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end development of high-performance compressors, turbines, and turbopumps
Own flowpath design, aerothermal performance, and mechanical integration
Work hands-on with prototype builds, test campaigns, and validation
Collaborate closely with manufacturing, suppliers, and test engineers
Drive design for reliability, scalability, and production readiness
Support system-level integration within complex high-temperature gas systems
Qualification
Required
Strong background in compressor or turbomachinery design with real production exposure
Experience taking rotating equipment from initial design through manufacturing and deployment
Background from aerospace, energy, or process plant/OEM environments
Expertise in aerothermal and flowpath design
Expertise in CFD and performance analysis
Expertise in mechanical design and tolerancing
Expertise in design for manufacture and assembly (DFM/DFA)
Comfortable in fast-paced, hardware-driven engineering teams
Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related field
Preferred
Compressor or turbomachinery OEMs
Aerospace propulsion or auxiliary power systems
Industrial gas or process compression systems
High-temperature or high-pressure rotating equipment programs
