Responsibilities
Support the prime contractor program manager, government stake holders with the overall planning, direction and success of major programs, systems development efforts, and research or technology initiatives which have great significance to the activities and agency’s needs
Responsible for assisting with the overall program definition, organization, and direction of short- and long-range plans. This includes the responsibility for formulating, guiding, and directing the technical approach; and defining and negotiating with activity and agency personnel for necessary resources
Establishment and control of technical milestones, schedules, budgets, and costs are also essential tasks for the Program Manager
Provide program and operations support across acquisition, communication, and leadership initiatives
Qualification
Required
Applicant must hold or be able to obtain an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance
10 years of experience supporting NAVSEA programs
Experience with Navy programs with small combatants
Bachelor's degree in engineering, logistics, business or related field or relevant direct military experience in lieu of degree
Preferred
Experience supervising medium to large teams is a plus
