Confidential is a fast-growing SaaS organization seeking a Billing Specialist to support accurate and timely invoicing and subscription billing operations. The role involves processing invoices, managing customer subscription changes, and assisting with billing inquiries and operations.

Marketing & Advertising

Responsibilities

Process customer invoices accurately and on time using a CRM/CPQ platform and integrated billing tools

Validate quote and order data for accuracy and completeness prior to billing

Ensure subscription renewals, upgrades, downgrades, and cancellations are reflected correctly on invoices

Partner with Sales and Revenue Operations to resolve pricing or contract discrepancies

Maintain accurate customer billing records in Salesforce and related financial systems (ERP/subscription billing tools)

Support month-end close activities related to billing, including revenue accruals and deferred revenue tracking

Reconcile billing data to customer contracts and (when applicable) usage metrics

Identify and contribute to process improvements that increase billing accuracy and automation

Respond to internal and customer billing inquiries (invoices, billing issues, payment status) and resolve via case management workflows

Process purchase orders supporting internal teams

Process credit memos as needed

Maintain customer subscriptions in the ERP system

Support ongoing optimization of billing systems, integrations, and related operational tools

Assist with ad-hoc reporting and special projects as needed

Required

High School diploma required

3+ years billing experience with emphasis on SaaS / contract invoicing

2+ years experience using Salesforce (CPQ exposure strongly preferred)

Understanding of subscription billing concepts and revenue recognition fundamentals

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail (intermediate Excel skills required)

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively cross-functionally

Highly adaptable, able to shift priorities in a changing environment

Continuous improvement mindset

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field

Experience with NetSuite billing and/or subscription billing platforms (e.g., Zuora or similar)
