Responsibilities
Prepare and support global indirect tax filings, including sales & use, VAT/GST, property, and similar taxes
Complete regular reconciliations of indirect tax accounts within the general ledger
Organize, track, and help resolve correspondence and inquiries from tax authorities
Maintain documentation to support internal controls and compliance requirements
Collaborate with internal teams and external tax advisors on filings, research, and special projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
At least 2 years of experience in a corporate tax department or public accounting environment
Strong working knowledge of indirect tax concepts across multiple jurisdictions
Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large, detailed data sets
Preferred
CPA or progress toward certification, advanced tax education, and Vertex O Series experience are preferred
