Client Service Specialist- Legal Secretary
Learning Consultant is seeking a Client Service Specialist (Legal Secretary) to support the Litigation Department in their Chicago office. This role provides high-level administrative and client service support to attorneys while ensuring smooth coordination across legal, financial, and operational functions.

Responsibilities
Provide high-level administrative and client service support in a busy litigation practice
Maintain an on-site presence to support collaboration and responsive client service
Coordinate legal projects including document preparation, filings, presentations, billing, and matter management
Draft, proofread, and manage legal documents and correspondence in the document management system
Support billing processes including time entry review, expense processing, and bill accuracy
Partner with internal teams such as Finance, Client Services, and Practice Support to complete tasks efficiently
Manage attorney calendars, meetings, and travel while maintaining confidentiality and discretion
Demonstrate flexibility, initiative, and strong follow-through in handling multiple priorities
Qualification
Required
6+ years of legal secretarial experience (litigation required)
Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with court filings, billing, and timekeeping processes
Strong written communication, organization, and multitasking ability
Proven ability to meet tight deadlines in a professional services environment
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
