Responsibilities
Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors and/or deliveries by carrying out Allied Universal and site-specific security-related procedures, access policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
Control entry at community access points by verifying identification and/or authorization, processing visitor and vendor check-in, issuing passes as directed, and maintaining accurate access logs
Monitor cameras, intercoms, gates and other access control systems, report malfunctions, and document unusual activity per post orders
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting management and/or emergency services as directed and completing required reports
Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, entry points and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity, identify maintenance or policy concerns, and document findings
Qualification
Required
Have at least 1 year of security-related experience
Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Customer service experience is preferred
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred
