Responsibilities

Student will maintain consistent schedule of availability for tutoring hours; location is both on the Macon campus, and through TEAMS scheduling
Maintain all work areas in a clean and organized manner
Maintain his/her academic work load while handling a work study job opportunity
Must be dependable and prompt
Must adhere to the code of confidentiality
Be cordial to all students, staff, faculty and visitors entering the tutoring area

Required

Minimum GPA of 2.5
Currently enrolled student at Middle Georgia State University for at least 6 credit hours
Students must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress
Position dependent on approval from assigned language professor (Spanish, Korean, French); student must be either a native speaker or in an advanced relevant language course
A student worker must have knowledge of computers and different software programs
Student is required to retain Family Education Rights & Privacy Act (FERPA) confidentiality
Must be dependable and prompt
Must adhere to the code of confidentiality
Be cordial to all students, staff, faculty and visitors entering the tutoring area
