Assistant Business Office Manager
Excelsior Care Group is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Business Office Manager to join our team at the Rehabilitation Center of Winter Park. This role supports the Business Office Manager in overseeing daily financial operations, assisting residents and families with financial matters, and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and policies.

Responsibilities
Assist with collecting documentation for Medicaid applicants
Meet with residents and families to discuss financial obligations and payment arrangements
Support the insurance authorization and billing processes
Collaborate with the Admissions Department to ensure all agreements are properly executed
Maintain compliance with all professional standards, policies, and procedures, as well as federal, state, and DOH regulations
Protect patient privacy and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA standards
Qualification
Required
Knowledge of Medicare required
Minimum of 2 years of college education (Accounting degree preferred)
At least 2 years of business office or accounting experience required
Proficiency in computer applications and financial systems
Preferred
Knowledge of Long-Term Care Medical Assistance strongly preferred
Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or healthcare setting preferred
