Quality Systems Engineer

Responsibilities
Maintain and improve OCS Quality systems by supporting the development and execution of the global Quality Systems strategy
Conduct activities that directly support the maintenance of Quality Management System certifications
Support execution of Quality Management System Reviews
Facilitate efforts in understanding of process capability and product quality architecture
Conduct root cause analysis on products and processes not meeting specified standards and requirements
Participate in cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvement opportunities and corrective/preventative actions
Collect and analyze critical Quality performance data to identify opportunities for improvement
Execute division audits of OCS plants and processes to determine compliance to OCS Quality Management System and TL 9000 requirements
Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place
Participate in the governance of Quality Management System processes
Provide training to support implementation and execution of Division Quality platforms and processes
Qualification
Required
4-year Engineering Degree preferred
2+ years of experience in Manufacturing, Engineering and/or Quality
Statistical competency; understands variability, sampling methods
Structured problem-solving skills to drive to root cause (e.g., KT)
Solid communication skills (written, verbal, presentation)
Solid project management skills
Familiarity with Quality Systems, audits, TL 9000 and ISO Certifications
Self-starter; ability to drive projects to closure
Preferred
Lean and Six Sigma certifications preferred
