Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and post orders, and completing required documentation
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking lots, and perimeter points; note unusual conditions and report concerns per protocol
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, medical events, and/or workplace disturbances, and request additional assistance when needed
Control access at gates and/or entrances by verifying identification and authorization, directing traffic flow, and maintaining visitor, delivery, and employee logs as required
Complete daily activity reports and incident reports, communicate key information during shift turnovers, and assist with security-related investigations by preserving observations and supporting evidence handling guidelines
Qualification
Required
A Valid Driver's License is required
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
Preferred
Customer service experience is preferred
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred
