They are seeking a Financial Analyst responsible for accumulating, analyzing, and reporting cost information to assist management and manufacturing personnel in decision-making and resource utilization.

Responsibilities
Accumulate, verify, analyze and report departmental raw material and overhead costs
Provide timely and accurate information to department management to assist with decision-making
Advise and communicate historical and projected financial performance to manufacturing and management personnel
Prepare and analyze annual business plans, monthly forecasts, account reconciliations, and project justifications for major expenditures
Raw material inventory tracking and control
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
Knowledge and ability to interpret accounting results, identify special problems and analyze causes, and make recommendations for improvements or corrective actions
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Preferred
Experience in a manufacturing environment
General knowledge of the steelmaking process
Knowledge of ORACLE and mainframe computer applications, such as SAS
