Responsibilities

Design, prototype, and improve data processing algorithms used in measurement software
Participate in code reviews and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality and algorithm performance
Document algorithm design and performance metrics for internal use and stakeholder communication

Required

Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Physics, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a closely related field
Proficiency in Algebra, Calculus, and mathematical modeling
Experience programming data processing/manipulation scripts (e.g., Python, MATLAB, or similar)
Strong capability in mathematical and technical problem solving
Clear communicator, active listener, and effective presenter of complex topics
Ability to design and conduct experiments following the scientific method

Preferred

Coding experience in Python, C#, and Object-Oriented Programming languages
Experience in image processing, especially using libraries such as OpenCV
Familiarity with spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel) for analysis and reporting
Experience building desktop applications (WPF, Windows Forms, or similar)
Familiarity with Git and code revision tooling
Experience with scientific data visualization: creating charts, plots, graphics, and presentations
Experience with nonlinear least-squares optimization, polynomial regression, and related techniques
Ability to analyze and assess measurement system accuracy and precision
Hands-on experience with optical/mechanical or automated imaging systems
