Responsibilities
Lead and execute month-end and year-end close processes
Prepare and review complex journal entries and account reconciliations
Ensure accuracy of financial statements and supporting schedules
Analyze variances and provide explanations to management
Support internal and external audits; act as primary audit contact for assigned areas
Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and internal controls
Assist with system implementations and process improvements
Mentor and review work of junior accounting staff as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CPA-eligible preferred)
4–7+ years of progressive accounting experience
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems required
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
