Director, Talent & HR Business Partnership
J Recruiting Services is a PE-backed manufacturing organization seeking a Director, Talent & HR Business Partnership to lead a team of HR Business Partners. This role involves driving enterprise talent solutions, strengthening leadership capability, and enhancing employee engagement across various environments.
Responsibilities
Lead and develop a high-performing team of HR Business Partners supporting multiple locations
Ensure consistent, high-quality HRBP delivery across the organization
Coach HRBPs on consultative partnership, problem-solving, and talent development strategies
Drive strong execution of core HR processes including performance management, recruiting, employee relations, succession planning, and culture initiatives
Provide guidance on complex employee relations matters while ensuring fairness, consistency, and compliance
Ensure adherence to employment laws, labor regulations, and internal policies
Oversee investigations and recommend timely, effective resolutions
Implement and maintain HR policies and practices that promote a positive and equitable workplace
Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on workforce planning, engagement, performance, and development
Coach managers on effective leadership practices, communication, and accountability
Partner with leadership on organizational change initiatives to ensure smooth implementation
Lead talent acquisition, onboarding, development, and retention strategies to support business needs
Partner with leaders to identify high-potential talent and support succession planning
Drive performance management processes including goal setting, evaluations, and improvement plans
Coordinate internal communications in partnership with key stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging across audiences
Use HR data to identify trends and deliver insights on retention, engagement, workforce performance, and organizational health
Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership on key people metrics such as turnover, diversity, and engagement
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred)
10+ years of progressive HR experience
5+ years in a strategic HRBP or similar leadership role
3+ years of direct people management experience
Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and organizational development
Proven experience in talent management, employee relations, and change management
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; ability to influence at all levels
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach
Ability to travel up to 25%
