Responsibilities
Lead month-end/year-end close, joint ventures, and complex ownership structures
Streamline and automate accounting processes and implement internal control best-practices
Oversee federal, state, and local tax compliance and lead external audits
Partner with operations to optimize resource allocation and support evaluation of new entities, JVs, and structured investments
Coordinate with advisors to build public-company-ready reporting, disclosures and documentation for a future IPO
Qualification
Required
Experience in building and overseeing all accounting operations
Strong knowledge of GAAP and regulatory requirements
Proven track record in financial reporting and internal controls
Experience leading month-end/year-end close processes
Ability to streamline and automate accounting processes
Experience overseeing federal, state, and local tax compliance
Experience leading external audits
Ability to partner with operations for resource allocation optimization
Experience in evaluating new entities, JVs, and structured investments
Experience coordinating with advisors for public-company-ready reporting and disclosures
