Responsibilities
Gain an understanding of a specific Sensus product design, including materials and manufacturing requirements while working with cross-functional teams
Develop and maintain inspection reports
Conduct routine quality inspections and analyze data
Perform product audits
Identify improvement opportunities in quality control processes
Facilitate Root Cause Analysis through various problem-solving tools and techniques on internal concerns or external customer returns
Supporting product Quality Engineers to achieve objectives
Participate in 5S projects and safety meetings
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
Quality ASQ certification a plus
Manufacturing experience preferred
Fluent in Microsoft Word/Excel
Ability to read technical drawings
Ability to use a variety of precision measurement tools and equipment
Can work independently with minimal supervision, and be able to follow written directions
Works well with others in a team environment
Ability to lift safely up to 35 pounds
Ability to use lift support devices
Regularly required to sit or stand, reach, bend and move about the facility
Regularly required to listen, talk to, and see employees on a daily basis
Manufacturing environment; may be exposed to loud noises, changing temperatures, machinery with moving parts and various materials
Climate controlled workspace, majority of the time with occasional work within manufacturing climate changes
Preferred
Quality ASQ certification a plus
Manufacturing experience preferred
