Responsibilities
Leads and treats associates respectfully and equally by promoting our core values in a team environment
Leads and supervises a team of night Shift Supervisors and associates in warehouse operations
Ensures that customer orders are selected, assembled, and loaded according to established MDI procedures, standards, and expectations
Ensures inbound orders are received according to established MDI procedures, standards, and expectations
Works directly with transportation teams to ensure any load issues are handled timely and with minimal disruption to our customers
Leverages KPIs across safety, engagement, and operational performance for continuous improvement
Assist in the managing of expenses with special emphasis on damage control, labor, and supplies usage, in order to meet or exceed weekly budgets
Provides input in establishing operations procedures and the tools necessary to support them
Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations, and company policies including OSHA, FDA, HACCP, FSMA, SQF, etc
Reviews and ensures all safety, quality and productivity standards are achieved for operations
Ensures all employees have been trained in safety, quality, and standard policies and procedures
May be required to perform other job tasks as necessary
Qualification
Required
Knowledge generally associated with a bachelor's degree or related experience
7+ years' experience progressive leadership responsibilities in warehouse/manufacturing
Must have strong communication skills
Warehouse Management System experience
Highly proficient in computer usage, e-mail, Microsoft Office Suite
Strong judgment and decision-making skills
Presentation skills and comfortable speaking in a classroom/tour environment
Preferred
Bi-lingual a plus
