Manager of Strategic Initiatives

Responsibilities
Develop and implement fee-for-service offerings in collaboration with the Executive Director, including service design, pricing strategies, and client engagement models
Conduct coordinated outreach to potential clients in aging services, senior housing, community agencies, and nonprofit sectors
Cultivate and sustain relationships with community leaders and aging network professionals to strengthen CAC's vision and expand service reach locally, statewide, and nationally
Identify and develop new revenue opportunities aligned with CAC's mission
Support the Executive Director in developing and expanding CAC's continuing education offerings for professionals in the aging sector
Coordinate content development, instructor partnerships, and program design for online courses that will be hosted at Sease Institute
Develop additional professional training and education initiatives to support workforce development in aging services
Monitor program performance and participant engagement to ensure quality and impact
Design, evaluate, and update website architecture and content, engaging professionals to serve as guest bloggers and content contributors
Develop and execute promotional plans for new initiatives, fee-for-service offerings, and Sease educational programs
Work closely with University Marketing to maximize external audience engagement regarding CAC's programs and impact
Manage CAC's social media presence and coordinate with campus and external parties providing technical support
Oversee day-to-day operational management of assigned projects, including staff and consultants
Develop and manage project timelines, deliverables, and quality assurance measures
Maintain effective communication channels with clients to ensure satisfaction and project success
Collaborate with CAC team to develop and write proposals for external projects
Conduct project assessment and close-out activities
Work with Director of Operations to ensure accurate and timely billing, invoicing, and required reports
Represent CAC at campus-based and community meetings and events
Serve on selected committees and boards as a representative of the University of Indianapolis and CAC
Provide regular updates and strategic recommendations to the Executive Director and CAC Leadership Team
Assist Executive Director with strategic communications, editorial services, presentations, and collateral materials as needed
Work under the guidance and direction of the Executive Director
Demonstrate regular and predictable attendance, punctuality, and professional conduct
Abide by the University's policies, procedures, and rules as detailed in employee handbooks
Perform other duties, including special projects, as required or assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in business development, strategic planning, or project management, preferably in nonprofit, healthcare, aging services, or community-based organizations
Demonstrated experience in client relationship development and revenue generation through fee-for-service models or similar initiatives
Experience in communications, marketing, or promotional campaign development
Knowledge of and experience with successful project management principles and practices
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are essential
Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience with website content management systems and social media platforms
Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, marketing, public administration, healthcare administration, gerontology, nonprofit management, or related field required
Preferred
Familiarity with online learning platforms or continuing education program development
Master's degree preferred
