Responsibilities
Journeyman Miscellaneous financial specialist will administers travel authorizations and enforces compliance with travel policies throughout the process
Examine and process travel vouchers
Verify travel expenses for accuracy and allowability under government travel regulations
Calculate appropriate reimbursement for lodging, meals, transportation, and incidental expenses
Educate staff on travel policies and procedures to facilitate proper compliance and documentation
Financial specialist will supports the Purchase Card Manager with oversight of the purchasing card program, ensuring compliance, fraud prevention, and efficient use of the cards
Qualification
Required
B.S. or B.A. degree from an accredited college/ university
3 years relevant experience in financial operations and knowledge of the Federal Travel Regulation and government travel
Experience with GSA Electronic Travel Services 2 (ETS2) and the associated travel and expense systems
3 years relevant experience in financial operations and knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation
Evaluating the effectiveness of the P-Card program and identifying areas for optimization
Preferred
Bachelor's
Financial operations: 3 years
Knowledge of the Federal Travel Regulation: 3 years
Government travel: 3 years
GSA Electronic Travel Services 2 (ETS2): 3 years
