Responsibilities
Provide customer service to guests, tenants, vendors and/or employees by following site-specific access procedures and customer service standards at the front desk
Greet and screen visitors, issue visitor credentials as directed, maintain visitor logs, and provide directions within the retail location
Monitor and manage entry points, building systems and/or cameras from the front desk, and report unusual activity according to site-specific protocols
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting onsite management and/or emergency services as needed
Assist with security-related communications, including answering phones and radios, relaying messages, and coordinating requests for assistance
Complete detailed reports of incidents, daily activity, and shift handoffs using approved reporting tools and documentation standards
Support loss prevention and security-related awareness by observing customer flow and front entrance activity, and promptly reporting policy violations or suspicious behavior
Help maintain an orderly front lobby area by addressing minor disturbances through verbal de-escalation and requesting additional support when needed
Follow emergency response activities and site-specific procedures for fire alarms, medical events and/or evacuation notifications, and guide visitors to appropriate resources
Qualification
Required
Be at least 21 years of age
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Alarm panel experience is preferred
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
Customer service experience is preferred
Be able to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred
