Responsibilities
Lead a group of UAW tool & die makers in their daily activities
Ensure safe work practices are followed and continually improved
Provide guidance on tryout, production operation, and maintenance of dies
Lead quality improvement activities to provide high quality parts to the customer
Support business plan deployment objectives
Implement best practices, lessons learned, and support manufacturing innovations
Travel to die construction sites for buyoffs and tryout as necessary
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Tool & Die
Ability to work full time, 40 hours per week & willing to work overtime including weekends as necessary
Willingness to be shift flexible
Ability to travel during die construction and tryout phase of product launches
Preferred
3-5+ years of Tool & Die experience
Outstanding interpersonal and relationship management skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with varying levels of the organization as needed
