Garda Capital Partners is a multi-billion dollar alternative investment firm with extensive experience in fixed income markets. They are looking for an Infrastructure Engineering Intern to gain hands-on exposure to enterprise infrastructure and cloud platforms during the Summer of 2026.

Responsibilities

Assist with Infrastructure as Code initiatives using Terraform/OpenTofu and CloudFormation

Support cloud infrastructure projects across AWS and Azure environments

Work with senior team members and managed service providers to support on-premise server infrastructure

Contribute to monitoring, alerting, and availability of trading systems

Participate in backup, disaster recovery, and infrastructure documentation efforts

Support physical infrastructure including audiovisual systems and access control

Assist with front-office and enterprise infrastructure support initiatives

Required

Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field

Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure) or strong interest in learning

Familiarity with at least one scripting or programming language (Python, PowerShell, or similar)

Interest in infrastructure automation, DevOps, and cloud technologies

Basic understanding of networking and operating systems

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Ability to work effectively in a high-energy, time-sensitive team environment
