The Priority Responder/Monitoring Technician will conduct field inspections and assessments of mitigation projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and providing recommendations during disasters caused by fire, water, mold, or environmental factors.

Responsibilities
Respond promptly to water, fire, mold and environmental losses
Ensures the property is secured and safe upon arrival
Facilitates a positive customer experience through reassurance, explaining next steps and setting expectations during high – stress situations
Acts as the initial contact for homeowners and / or property managers
Perform a thorough inspection to identify source of loss, category and class of loss
Assess affected materials, structural components and contents
Identifies potential health and safety risks (electrical hazards, contamination, mold risk, etc.)
Determines scope of job to be performed, if mitigation can be completed immediately
Maintain detailed job notes, photos, and moisture readings in DryBook and DASH, ensuring consistency with Xactimate
Develop a clear, accurate scope of work for mitigation and restoration
Determine required equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, etc.)
Define demolition needs, drying strategies and monitoring requirements
Ensure damage sources and migration lines are clearly defined
Accurately create a job in DASH and / or DryBook (in the event of a water loss)
Capture detailed photos, moisture readings and job notes
Provide detailed summaries for internal teams, insurers or adjusters as required
Qualification
Required
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Comprehensive understanding of water, fire, and mold restoration processes
Proficiency in DASH, Xactimate, DryBook and MS Office
Excellent communication, organization, and client service skills
Strong attention to detail, documentation, and compliance accuracy
Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills
IICRC Certified Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT)
Able to work independently and collaboratively
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
Preferred
Applied Structural Drying Technician (ASD)
Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT)
Fire and Smoke Damage Restoration Technician (FSRT)
