Responsibilities
Support with the development of proposals, bids, quotations, RFP responses, or other documents describing organizational products and services in response to requests from prospective clients
Collaborate and coordinate with internal contributors and subject matter experts to ensure content is complete, accurate, and maximizes business opportunities
Manage and meet proposal deadlines by establishing project priorities and due dates
Assist the departments' leaders with communication during the entire proposal process, coordinate meetings, calendars, and deadlines across multiple internal departments
Manage and meet strict deadlines by establishing project priorities and due dates for the proposal team
Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments
Assist in managing the FOIA and competitive intelligence process
Adapt proposal based on competitive intelligence findings to ensure information is competitive as possible
Use competitive intelligence data to recommend improvements to products or processes to respective department leaders
Assist in continuous improvement of system mapping for proposals and FOIA processes and streamlining Standard Operating Procedure’s (SOPs)
Qualification
Required
3+ years of professional experience in business proposals or grant writing
Ability to work on multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Extreme attention to detail
Strong Adobe InDesign skills
