They are seeking a Strategic Sourcing & Planning professional who will handle material availability for the MRO operation, forecast material demand, set inventory models, and manage supplier relationships.

Responsibilities
Forecasting what materials and spares will be needed to support maintenance and overhaul schedules
Defining and maintaining inventory policies (min/max, safety stock, reorder logic)
Planning long-term, bulk, and life-of-program buys for critical and long-lead items
Managing supplier relationships from a volume, lead-time, and availability perspective
Identifying and mitigating material risk before it impacts maintenance events
Representing Supply Chain in Tri-Party OEM/Customer/GA Telesis calls discussing material availability
Develop and maintain material forecasts aligned to maintenance demand
Set and adjust inventory targets for rotables, consumables, and long-lead components
Balance availability, risk, and inventory investment
Monitor and address excess, slow-moving, and obsolete inventory
Lead supplier discussions related to forecasts, capacity planning, lead times, Hardware kits and long-term commitments
Align suppliers to expected demand and availability requirements
Partner with Purchasing to support sourcing and commercial execution with forward-looking supply intelligence
Work closely with Purchasing, Stockroom, Program Management and Engineering
Provide clear material direction and priorities to execution teams
Act as escalation point for material availability risks and conflicts
Provide regular reporting on inventory health, coverage, shortages, and supply risk
Communicate upcoming constraints, long-lead risks, and provisioning mitigation plans to leadership
Qualification
Required
Knowledge of FAA/EASA regulatory requirements impacting MRO sourcing and inventory planning
Hands-on experience with demand forecasting, material planning, and inventory optimization
Ability to analyze spend data, KPIs, and supplier performance metrics
Experience managing supplier relationships, including OEMs, repair vendors, and distributors
Familiarity with AOG support, repair turn-time (TAT), and critical parts availability
Strong collaboration skills with engineering, maintenance, logistics, and finance teams
Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, AMOS, Trax, or similar)
Experience supporting budget planning, cost control, and make-vs-buy decisions
Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment with shifting priorities
Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
